for upcoming trips and other events. Complete
the Volunteer Information Sheet and either the
Medical Release Form (for health
professional volunteers) or the Non-Medical Release Form (for all other
volunteers), and forward them to John or Norma Rodarte.
Volunteers Needed:
Medical Personnel –
doctors, dentists, nurses
Spanish Translators
Assistants to help distribute medications,
clothing, food, and toiletries
Volunteers are responsible for their own expenses and must have a valid US
Passport.
Lodging - We stay at Hotel
Hacienda Del Mar. A room that accommodates 4 people costs
approximately $60 per night, and most of our volunteers share rooms to reduce
individual costs.
Meals - We cook lunch (usually hot dogs) for the team and the community on both
work days. Other meals are not provided.
Please bring your own snacks and bottled water for breakfast. In
the evening, you are welcome to join the team for dinner at a local restaurant
(optional).
Transportation - is provided. A donation of $40 per person is requested to
cover the cost of gas, insurance, and van rental.
